So as you can see, there are tons of use cases and many, many more. At the end of this webinar, you can find out how to get in touch with them. But for now, I'll hand over to Tom, and we can jump right into the session. Okay. Perfect. So I'm doing the driving now. Welcome, everyone. I'm Tom Bassett, solutions architect from Verus Solutions. I do various things in and about the Salesforce community and really excited to be walking you through what's new in this release, today for this Salesforce spend webinar. So first up, let's set the scene and talk about what we've got on the agenda for today. Our session is split up into a number of different sections. We will start off by talking about what's new for admins, so the the highlights for Salesforce admins everywhere that are coming with this release. We'll also dive into Salesforce flow and talk about some of the new goodies, features, and functionalities that are happening in that world. And then we'll explore some specific things which are new in sales cloud and service cloud, and then we will review the release updates, which Salesforce are enforcing as part of the spring twenty five release. If you have any questions during the session, then feel free to pop these in the q and a box, and we will do our best to get round to those, at the end of the call, during our dedicated q and a, time. So first up, what's new for admins? So within this release, when you explore permission sets and profiles, what was previously known as view all and modify all has been relabeled as view all records and modify all records to make things clearer. To save you clicks, you can additionally now grant the new view all fields permissions, which saves having to do this manually and will include any new fields that are created in the future. This is done at the object level, and you can see us demonstrating this against the slide for the contact object. Next up on the theme of permissions, when you view a permission set and press on the view summary button, you will now see key details such as the related permission set groups, object permissions, and field permissions that you may have been used to from previous releases. The new functionality here for Spring twenty five is the ability to remove user permissions from this page, and you can do the same for custom permissions as well. Hopefully, you can see this in the screenshot, but ultimately tick next to the permission for which you want to remove from that permission set and then press on the remove button in the top right hand corner. Next up, we're sticking with permission sets, and we are now able to add or remove permission sets from permission set groups directly from the permission set summary. So you can see here that I am in a particular permission set. I can see what's going on in terms of which permission set groups this permission set is already part of, And I can use the action buttons to add this permission set to groups or remove this permission set from permission set groups. And features like this are the kind of summary, really, of the power of the idea exchange because this was a feature that was delivered thanks to the upvotes and the prioritization via the Salesforce idea exchange. Next up, list views have been given some upgraded functionality in this release. Firstly, for those eagle eyed, you might have noticed that the edit list filters option has disappeared from this release. Going forward, you'll need to use the funnel icon to manage any filters in your list views as that's now the only way to do that. On a rolling basis, starting from spring twenty five, you'll also be able to sort your list views by multiple columns, thanks to the idea exchange again. And something to bear in mind is this sorting only affects your own user preferences. So you can see here in this live demo, we're selecting the option to sort by multiple columns. We're sorting by annual revenue descending, and then we are going to sort by account name ascending. And if we wanted to, we could add additional columns there as well up to five in total. And you can see that the toast message is just confirming to us that we have applied that sort by those different columns. So you might be thinking, well, what about related lists? And the good thing is, much like list views, you can now sort by multiple columns when viewing a related list. You can get into this functionality by going to the related list and then pressing on view all. And from this view, you can use the action button to sort by multiple columns, select your preferences, press apply, and the results of the related records will be updated before you vary eyes. So that brings us to a close for the new things for Salesforce admins. So let's dive into Salesforce flow and discover what's new within flow for this release. When you use the automation app to create a new flow, the UI has been given a face lift. You can now filter out unnecessary types of flows to trim down what you see, and different flow cards have different icons to make things overall more clearer and easy to understand. Perhaps have a conversation about this in the chat, but is this the start of Salesforce pushing admins out of setup to create flow as the UI when you create a flow from the setup menu remains the same as it was in the previous release? You only see this new kind of face lift when you create a flow directly from the automation app itself. Next up, when you are building out screen flows, you can now use the native progress indicator to show users where they are in the process. Let's say you have a multistage wizard that is being delivered to your users via a ScreenFlow and it has different screens. You can show an indicator at the top to display how far in somebody is into that process. And we can see here in the screenshot the different options that you have available to do that. You can display it in simple form at the top of the screen via the different dots. This can also be displayed at the bottom of the screen instead. Or at the top of the screen, you can display the different stages as a visual path, which you may have seen elsewhere in Salesforce to represent other things like the opportunity stage. Next up, validation rules within screenflows have been updated to run-in real time. So you might have built out a number of screen flows already and ultimately discovered that you didn't get any error messages historically until you actually pressed next. And at that time, you could get multiple error messages all at once, if your information wasn't valid. So in this case, you can see as we're typing, the system is reevaluating that condition, and the error message simply goes away when the description is long enough so that the validation rule itself, is no longer, enforced. Next up, still with screen flows, we are talking Salesforce Einstein now. And from this release, you can now generate a description from an existing or a new Salesforce flow. You can see from this screenshot that we've got two different options when choosing this within the spring twenty five release. The first option is a standard description, which includes the objects that were modified in the flow. And the shorter version summarizes everything that the flow does in one or two sentences. So it's designed to be a little bit more concise and and on point. So once you're happy with your Einstein generated flow description, you can simply press on add to flow description, and that will update the description against the flow for which you are building. Next up, the transform element within Salesforce flow has been given some new abilities in the spring twenty five release. You can now combine multiple source collections into one target collection. For example, in this screenshot, we've got a collection of some contacts, and we've got some accounts in a different collection. And we are using the transform collection to create a lead, collection instead using some of the contact information and some of the account information. So although you can't see it here, you're probably gonna get first name, last name, email address from contact, and they then maybe company name industry from the account, collection to ultimately create a a mashup of that information within your new lead records. So we are now drawing into the what's new in sales and service cloud within the spring twenty five release. So to get started, we are going to talk about AgentForce. So although AgentForce sales coach might not be new for spring twenty five, it's still getting some attention from from us today. This AI powered assistant uses generative AI and CRM records to provide sellers with stage specific feedback to help push deals forward. You can access it via the lightning component on the opportunity page. The Agent Force sales coach is context aware. And so if an opportunity is in qualification or needs analysis stage, it analyzes a seller's sales pitch and provides feedback. At later stages, the sales coach acts as a customer in some form of futuristic role play where the agent then goes on to provide the seller with feedback on their approach. Next up in this release, we are going to explore sales action plans, which are part of Sales Cloud functionality. These allow you to assign tasks and events to team members going forward to to help you achieve your objectives. You can also link these plans to accounts, contacts, opportunities, and more. Using sales account plans, you can now specify specific different types of qualitative and quantitative objectives and include those related records when setting up an objective. As team members complete activities that satisfies the criteria, the objective's current value is updated. You can use calculation definitions to specify how an objective is measured in a sales account plan. Two types are available by default, or you can go on to create your own. Next up, shifting into service cloud, the service planner uses generative AI to summarize a case and create a list of suggested steps to resolve the issue. This advice is grounded in your organization's data and agent force topics, actions, and instructions, and so it can be tailored to your specific business processes. This starts with step one in the screenshot, which is automatically summarizing the case and providing general case resolution steps when the case record page is opened. The feature then progresses to giving sales reps suggested steps to resolve the case when they click on the draft plan action. This allows agents to resolve cases faster so they don't spend time digging through your company's policies, standards, knowledge articles, or even having to review the case history, the AI powered assistant does that for them and gives them a list of suggested actions for them to start work on straight away. Next up, we are still in Service Cloud, and we are talking about supervisors can now monitor messaging between, AI and your customers from the Omni supervisor. Once you add the raise flag action to an AI agent, it can notify supervisors which conversations need human support who can then go on to lower the flag and transfer the conversations to the best human rep to help. So that brings us onto the last, of the highlights from sales and service cloud. So we're now gonna explore some of the release updates, which will be enforced by Salesforce as part of the spring twenty five release. So in case you missed it, by article on SalesforceSpan about what to expect and how to prepare for the spring twenty five release is available with a detailed breakdown of these updates, which are coming kind of bundled with the release. Once the release is live in your environment, these updates will be enforced by Salesforce. So it is important that you prepare for them ahead of time to make sure that your processes and the system continues to work as expected and users don't bump into particular issues around the impacted functionality. So the first update is about Einstein activity capture, and, ultimately, Salesforce are changing some permissions for sales engagement basic users. So it's important that you review the steps related to that one to make sure that going forward, sales reps or whoever's using sales engagement don't lose access to Einstein activity capture. The next update is something that Salesforce are rolling out kind of on a rolling basis over a number of different updates. But, ultimately, they are changing the format of, dates and locales. And in order to prepare for this new update, you need to complete a number of steps, including reviewing any custom Apex, Visualforce, and integrations that might pass date information in a particular format. From this release, you'll no longer be able to edit public list view visibility and select roles or the role hierarchy if you don't have the system permission to view roles and role hierarchy. So, again, be sure to review the notes on that one to make sure that you are prepared. And from this release, Salesforce are also, forcing users to verify their return email address for sender verification so that if somebody replies to an email that you've sent out manually from Salesforce, it's going to be sent back to to your address, which the system has already confirmed is valid. So, again, take note of that one, and be sure to prepare ahead of time so that you don't fall foul of these updates and things continue to work as expected. I'm aware that as I'm saying this, there are some orgs that have been upgraded to the release already, but these are the things to to bear in mind this time around. Amazing. Thank you so much, Tom, for taking us through that today. As mentioned earlier, huge thank you to Titan for sponsoring today's session. If you have any questions on Agentforce and Salesforce document generation, then Titan is here to answer them. You can book a call with them to walk through a use case. You can just scan the QR code, on the screen right now and fill out the form. I'll also send a link in the chat in just a moment. Also, if you do like what you see, know that you can get the entire Titan platform for only $1,000 a month and pay no renewal fee fees, so do get in touch if you are interested. I'll just pop the link in the chat now and send it to the top as well. Perfect. Amazing. So now we will move on to the q and a. If you do have any questions, for Tom, please feel free to use the q and a tab to, send your questions through. But, Tom, if you bring down the slides now, we can, yeah, move into q and a. Thank you. Fab, so, do you know if Salesforce is not having their release readiness sessions this release? Yeah. So there have been some updates to the format of the release readiness live sessions, and Salesforce are due to provide some more visibility into the future of those sessions. I don't think at the current time they've committed one way or the other about whether those sessions are, going to happen for this release. But we're certainly here to help with the articles on Salesforce fan about the top new features for admins, flows, developers, sales cloud, service cloud. So, hopefully, we've got the majority of what you need covered there over in those various articles. Amazing. Thank you. Does the filtering stick, or do you have to redo the filter, like, on a related record? Yeah. So the filters are applied kind of on a user level, so they aren't global. I would expect them to, stick like what you're describing there based on how Salesforce have, described the functionality, in the the release notes on that one. Great. Thank you. Is that map method only going to be used for leads, or can it be used across other objects? So it can be used across any objects. We're perhaps just a little bit unfortunate that we borrowed the example from Salesforce, and that's the example that they used. And so, yeah, that is available across kind of collections in general. So that could be a record, collection or perhaps something some information that's been returned from an external system via an Apex action or HTTP call out, those are all up for grabs as well. Just in our example, we were we were using leads, because it also makes a good use case because, ultimately, when you convert a lead, a little bit of the information goes onto the contact and some of the other information goes onto the account. So we kind of exploited that a little bit and, showed you the inverse to to try to make sense of it for you guys. Excellent. Thank you. Any other questions before we wrap up? Fab. Well, it looks like that's all the questions that we had for today. So I'm happy to wrap up the session now. Thank you so much, Tom, for taking us through, everything today, and and thank you everyone in the audience for, tuning in. I hope that we answered, your questions, about the spring twenty five release. I will be sending a follow-up email in the next couple of days with a link to the recording so you can revisit any of the key points or share it with anyone, who you feel might benefit from the session as well. And it will also contain, the slide deck as well for you to review. That is everything. Thanks so much once again, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day. Thanks all. Bye. Bye.
